Experience: Coach Madison is entering his 21st year in coaching. During his career he has been the Defensive Coordinator at Oak Ridge HS, Clear Brook HS, Magnolia HS, and Klein Collins HS. He spent the past 6 years as the Head Coach at College Park HS where he was the 2020 13-6A Coach of the Year and the Conroe Courier Montgomery County Coach of the Year.

College: Graduate of Texas A&M University where he played football from 1997-2001. Member of the 1998 Big 12 Championship Team.

Personal: Coach Madison and his wife Leslie have 3 children. Mallory 18, Morgan 16, and Case 13.

MATTHEW VALMORE

Defensive Coordinator - Inside Linebackers

Experience: Coach Valmore is entering Year 10 in his coaching career. He has served as the DL coach at Furr High School, as well as the Defensive Coordinator. Coach Valmore was awarded the 2016 Houston Texans High School Coach of the Year, where he represented the franchise at the 2017 Pro Bowl. He was also the 2017 Don Shula Coach of the Year nominee. He then took a DL job at Bridgeland High School for the past 5 years prior to being promoted to Defensive Coordinator. 

College: Bachelor's and Master's Degree earned at Texas Southern University.

Personal: Matthew has been married to Tranecia for 5 years and they share a 5 year old son, Matthew Valmore Jr.

TRENT SOLSMA

Offensive Coordinator - Quarterbacks

Experience: Coach Solsma is entering his fifth year in coaching and first year as the Offensive Coordinator and quarterback coach at Bridgeland High School. He spent his first year at Waltrip High School coaching the running backs. He spent his last three years at Cinco Ranch High School coaching the tight ends and wide receivers. 

College: Coach Solsma is a graduate of Morningside College where he was a member of the 2018 national championship team and named NAIA player of the year. 

Personal: Coach Solsma and his wife Jen have one daughter, Harper, who was born in October of 2022. 

LLOYD SPOTTED-WOLF

Recruiting Coordinator - Defensive Line

Experience: This is Coach Spotted Wolf’s 27th year coaching, including 12 years collegiate coaching, having served as Head Coach and multiple stints as Offensive Coordinator. Coach has been a part of three State Championships and a National Championship at Blinn College. His highlights include having coached NFL Hall of Famer Brian Urlacher (New Mexico) and Cam Newton (Blinn), as well as having coached the first pure Deep Snapper ever drafted in the NFL (Joe Maese – Ravens).

College: Adams State University (Alamosa, CO – English & Exercise Physiology) and University of New Mexico (MS – Sports Administration)

Personal:  Married for 14 years to Ashley, with three children, Elizabeth (12), Rock (8), and Presley (4). Coach is also the Bridgeland Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsor, involved with Coaches Outreach Bible Study, and teaches English IV-K.

MICHAEL KENJURA

Experience: Coach Michael Kenjura is entering his 9th year of coaching. He has previously coached at Killeen Ellison High School for 3 years and is currently at Bridgeland High School coaching receivers and Special Teams Coordinator.

College: Coach Kenjura attended Texas A&M University and was on the football staff as a student for the 2012-2014 seasons. Coach Kenjura also holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin University.

Personal:  Coach Kenjura is married to his wife Erin Kenjura of 6 years this December who he met while attending Texas A&M. Erin is the culinary teacher at Bridgeland High School. They are blessed with a daughter Eleanor Lynn turning 4 in November and a baby boy Everett Raymond due in November.

JOEY MOUTON

Assistant Coach - Corners

Experience: Coach Mouton is entering his 23rd year of coaching. During his career he has been a Defensive Coordinator at Houston Furr High School and Worthing High School. He also was a Head Track Coach at Houston Heights, Houston Worthing, and Westside High Schools. For 3 years, Coach Mouton switched roles and became the Head Boys Basketball Coach at Houston Furr. While in HISD (football) he achieved 8 playoffs runs and 8 State Track and Field appearances with his teams before joining the Jersey Village staff as an Assistant Track Coach and Wide Receivers coach.  

College: University of Houston. Played football and ran track (1993-1996) UH 2 sport freshman of the year 1993. NCAA Track and Field Championship appearances 4x100 relay 1993 /1994  Sam Houston State University Football 1996-1997

DREW SEXTON

Coaching Experience: Coach Limon is entering his 33rd season coaching football in the State of Texas. During his career Coach Limon has been a Defensive Coordinator at Aldine Nimitz HS, an Offensive Coordinator at Cedar Creek HS and a Head Coach at Houston Sam Houston HS. He has also coached at Edinburg HS, Bastrop HS, Klein Collins HS and opened Cy-Ranch HS in CFISD.

College: Graduate of Southwest Texas State University where he served as a Student Assistant

Personal: Coach Limon and Lydia enjoy traveling, taking cruises and spending time with friends / family.

Experience: Coach Hughes is entering his 8th year in coaching. During his career he has been the Head Offensive Line Coach at Summer Creek HS, Santa Fe HS, & Brazosport HS. He spent the last 3 years as the Run Game Coordinator at Brazosport HS where the Exporters were in the top ten in rushing in 4A all three years.

BRETT BARRETT

Experience: Coach Barrett has been coaching for 10 years. During his career he has been defensive coordinator at Scarborough High School, helped Klein Collins get to the state semifinals in 2016, and spent the last 6 years at Cypress Park when they earned their first ever district championship in 2021.

College: Bachelor's from Texas A&M University and Master's from University of Texas at Arlington

CHAD GETSCHMANN

Experience: Coach Getschmann is entering his 14 year of teaching and coaching. He has worked at Lamar Consolidated High School, Jersey Village High School and Fulshear High School.

College: Graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.

Personal: Coach Getschmann has been married to his wife Christina for 14 years and has 2 girls that attend Swenke Elementary, Brenleigh 10 and Tegan 6.

BRECKON REED

Experience: Coach Reed is entering his 6th year of coaching. During his career he spent three years at Kearney High School in Kearney, Nebraska where he served as the running backs coach for two years and wide receivers coach for one year. He spent the last two years at Odessa High School in Odessa, Texas as the wide receivers coach.

College: Graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he played football and got a degree in Health & Physical Education K-12.

Personal: Coach Reed is married to his amazing wife, Kaylee. They are expecting their first child, Avaleigh, in October.

ROBERT DEDEAR

Assistant Coach - Defensive Line

Experience: Coach DeDear is in his third year of coaching at the high school level, all at Bridgeland. Two of those years were with the offensive line and now with the defensive line. Previously Coach DeDear coached in the AAYFDT and CFSA for 15 years as a volunteer coach. 

College: After graduating from Cypress Falls in 1999, Coach DeDear played offensive line at Friends University in Wichita, KS. Later graduated from the University of Houston Downtown with a Bachelors in History in 2021. 

Personal: Married to Cynthia DeDear for 18 years. Together they have 2 boys, Robert (15) who is a sophomore football player at Bridgeland and Taylor (13) who is a 7th grader at Smith JH. They are also expecting another son in early December of this year. 

DAVONNE LAWSON

Assistant Coach - Defensive Backs

Davonne Lawson is a father of 2, a 3-year-old daughter and a 2-month-old son, with his beautiful wife Tatiary, who have been married for 6 years. Coach Lawson started coaching and refereeing little league games while attending the University of Texas-San Antonio when he was 20 years old. Coach Lawson has been around sports all of his life, and has a vast knowledge of strength and conditioning, as he received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Currently, he is a SPED high school teacher and Coach at Bridgeland High School. He uses his military upbringing, experiences in life, and knowledge of football/basketball to help athletes become the best version of themselves on and off the field/court.

TIMOTHY MORRIS

Experience: Coach Morris is entering his 16th year as an athletic trainer. He has been at Sealy HS, Foster HS, Cypress Springs HS before opening Bridgeland HS as the head athletic trainer in 2017.

College: Texas A&M, He was a student athletic trainer for multiple sports during his time there.

Personal:  Coach Morris is married to Rev. Whitney Peper and they have a son, Jase (10).

LAUREN WHITEMAN

Experience: Lauren is entering her 5th year in Cy-Fair ISD as an athletic trainer and her 3rd year at Bridgeland.

College: Attended Whittier College in Southern California where she played volleyball from 2010-2013 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology & Nutrition Sciences. After that she moved to Texas to pursue a Master’s degree in Athletic Training at the University of Houston and graduated in 2019. 

Personal: Lauren and Cass have one daughter, Rayleigh 6 mos.
